Celebrating the Rhone in a different kind of Way
Portland Native Jesse Skiles is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has spent time in the kitchen at some of the most focused farm based restaurants across the United States, until recently Skiles was the Chef at Owen Roe Winery in St. Paul, Oregon where he developed Fausse Piste in 2008 as one of the youngest winemakers in the state at 24, a Boutique Rhone based wine label using vineyards from across Washington and Oregon State as well as Brassica Inc. a hospitality based parent company with his family. Current plans include opening a small winery in the heart of Portland as well as a tasting room that features food pairing based tasting menus. Expected to open March 2012,
